A Walk Through The Garden of EdenIn 1996, the Eden Historical Society published a comprehensive history of Eden titled, “A Walk Through the Garden of Eden”.  Unfortunately, there are no copies available for purchase at this time.  There is a copy at the Town Clerk’s Office for reference.

This 175-page, hard-cover book spans “In the beginning”, from the formation of the Green Mountains through 1781, to the “Twentieth Century”, about 1920 through the publication date of 1996.  The book is filled with old photographs of the mills, lake camps and notable houses, diary entries of early settlers, descriptions of the neighborhoods, lists of Town officials, schoolteachers, and much more.
