Attention Eden residents and campers, Lake Eden Rec Area is closing for the season. Please pick up your kayaks, canoes, lost items etc. before Sunday October 12th. If you absolutely are not able to before the 12th, please call Lake Eden Rec at 635-7725 BEFOREHAND to make arrangements. The area will be closed to vehicles after the 12th so anyone picking up will have to walk in to retrieve their items. Thank you!
Lake Water Testing is done from Memorial Day thru Labor Day each season

For reservations of tent sites, shelter rentals, or an overnight RV site, please email lera@edenvt.org or call (802) 635-7725. Deposit must be received in order for your booking to be held.
We accept cash or check payable to Lake Eden Rec Area. Payments are also accepted online (check with a $1.50 flat fee or debit/credit with a minimum $3.00 fee or 2.65%, whichever is greater) through MuniciPay. Fees are retained by MuniciPay. The municipally owned Lake Eden Recreation Area provides residents and visitors with a scenic area for camping, swimming, boating and fishing.
Upper RV Camping Area
A lottery is held each fall for those owners of RVs who wish to spend the summer here. Each campsite is provided with electricity, water and sewer. There are RV overnight sites and a few tent sites along the water’s edge.
If there are available sites in the spring, another lottery is held to assign those open campsites.
RV Sites #1-8 are located on the lower level; Sites #9-17 are located on the upper level. Site #18 is reserved for the Beach Manager.
Playground
There is a playground for the kids and a beach house with bathrooms and changing facilities close by. The two large pavilions are available for rent and are perfect for picnics, birthday parties or large family gatherings. Picnic tables, trash bins, and BBQ grills are located near the shelters and along the beach area for the convenience of the swimmers.
Swim lessons, with instruction from Red Cross qualified instructors, are provided for all ages and abilities each summer.
